Installation and Commissioning Project Engineer/Manager

Job Location-Chikkaballapur

The Installation Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the successful site engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and initial startup of the Lotus Electrolyzer units.  This role will be the lead communication point between the EPC firm, customer, and Ohmium.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Installation, Commissioning, and O&M manual for Lotus and associated equipment
  • Organize and lead timely responses for design details between stakeholders.
  • Create and Manage Ohmium’s schedule with clearly defined Roles and Responsibilities for all stakeholders
  • Manage project budget, schedule, and risks
  • Support HAZOP development and participate in Product and EPC design reviews
  • Prepare status reports and create communication cadence to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on upcoming tasks, risks and opportunities, and overall milestones summary
  • Lead team for execution of Ohmium’s work scope for installation support, Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Commissioning and Initial Startup
  • Lead Train-the-Trainer program for educating Customer’s Operations personnel
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems to help meet and improve unit performance standard
  • Strong understanding of DCS or PLC controls systems – hardware installation and operation


  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering
  • At least 3 -5 years experience designing or operating Hydrogen, Oxygen, or Hazardous Gas Systems
  • Strong hands-on capability
  • At least 1 – 2 years of Project Management experience
